Client: Code Your Future (CYF) is a non-profit organisation supporting refugees and disadvantaged individuals with the dream of becoming developers.
Challenge: Design a process for people with disadvantaged background to learn the basics of programming with a course curated using MOOC (Massive open online course) like FreeCodeCamp. It would allow them to learn, build a portfolio and apply to be part of the free 8 months long full stack web developer course which would train them to become a professional programmer.
Role: My key responsibilities were conducting user research and testing as well as developing wireframes, mockups and prototypes. It involved collaborating with different individuals and teams in researching, designing and testing the website.
